We operate as an architectural company active in two divisions. COAST Architects is an architectural firm specialized in designing future-proof architecture and places. As COAST Development we deliver projects by initiating, investing, designing, and developing end-to-end.

3D BIM AND PARAMETRIC DESIGN
Working efficiently requires new techniques, smarter software and better processes. In the feasability and designprocess we use parametric tools to study and design and stay agile.
Our buildings are virtually build in a BIM and IFC-exportable models. We believe in ‘open’ BIM, which allows for integration of areas like construction, systems, building regulations and constructional physics. We believe that this integration is key, as it permits us to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. Designs are presented in 3D, both visually and architecturally. This allows not only for quicker design, but also provides an immediate impression of the cohesion between urban design and architecture and between facades and structure. The 3D presentation also has advantages for clients and end users in that they can move through the plans, which gives them a clear impression of the design.

COAST COMPANY BV is affiliated with the Branchevereniging Nederlandse Architectenbureaus, BNA. The BNA is a network that supports modern, creative entrepreneurship.

WE ARE GOING CIRCULAR
COAST supports the circular manifesto of the BNA and the ambitions of the Dutch government to have the Netherlands fully circular by 2050. We believe that circular design should become an integral part of current architectural practice and that our generation of architects has a leading role in this.
Circular design is an important link in a sustainable society that ensures that future generations can meet the same need as we do. We see circularity as an instrument to create added value. Promote health, purify air, purify water and deliver energy.
VACANCIES
COAST is always looking for motivated interns interested in assisting project teams with design, drawing, presenting, modelling and research activities. You will be closely involved in the design and research processes in the context of different projects and in different phases of the processes.
